To all my 100% whole-food, plant-based families. As you know, our family is a plant-based family, but we are not 100% whole food plant-based. I am probably 95% myself. My goal with this meal plan is to help families that are looking to incorporate more plant-based foods into their lives. Although our family believes that being 100% WFPB is the best way to live, I feel that I will only reach a small amount of families with this mindset, so I have chosen to include some alternatives for folks who might not be willing or able to make the full WFPB commitment. You can imagine how hard it would be for a parent driving through the McDonald’s fast food window to all of a sudden be told they should not eat meat, oil, cheese or processed foods. But again, I fully understand and am 100% on your side. That’s why the three phases exist.
